It converts RS485 data signals into wireless signals for bidirectional communication with another compatible wireless transceiver within range. The receiving module converts the wireless signal back to RS485 output. Multiple modules can be deployed to enable wireless data transmission without extensive cabling. Simply power the module and connect it to RS485 devices to establish remote communication. This helps avoid issues caused by damaged, corroded, or poorly connected wired RS485 lines. Configuration is simplified using DIP switches — only two parameters require setting: baud rate and channel. Radio frequency = (channel × 5.5 MHz) + 426 MHz.
