RJ45 Dual-Input Selector Switch

Measurements: approx. 11 cm (L) × 6.8 cm (W) × 2.3 cm (H); weight approximately 180 grams. Made entirely of iron — including top cover, base plate and internal frame — ensuring uniform density, vibration damping and corrosion resistance when used indoors under normal ambient conditions. Surface treatment: electrostatically applied black epoxy coating — resistant to chipping and UV fading. This is a Layer 1 (physical layer) selector: no MAC address learning, no buffer memory, no forwarding table. It simply connects one of two incoming Ethernet links to a single outgoing port via a mechanically actuated internal bridge. Supports full-duplex communication and auto-negotiation pass-through — meaning connected devices retain native speed and duplex negotiation capability. Typical deployment: connecting a single workstation to either a fibre broadband gateway or a 4G/LTE backup router; allowing engineers to validate network performance across multiple upstream providers; or enabling secure air-gapped testing by physically isolating test equipment from live networks — all with a single flick of the switch.
