Engineered around the Texas Instruments CC1101 IC, this transceiver module delivers dependable wireless connectivity in the unlicensed 433MHz band. It accepts 1.8–3.6V DC power (3.3V optimal), supports data rates from 1.2kbps to 500kbps, and implements 2-FSK, GFSK, and MSK modulation. Its high receiver sensitivity of –110dBm (at 1.2kbps, 1% BER) ensures strong signal capture under weak or interference-prone conditions. Power efficiency is prioritised: only 15.6mA active current draw at 2.4kbps, plus programmable output power up to +10dBm. Key intelligent features include hardware-accelerated CRC error checking, point-to-multipoint address filtering, automatic clear-channel assessment before transmission, and fast frequency synthesis for hopping sequences. Wireless wake-up capability allows remote activation from ultra-low-power sleep states. The module uses a standard DIP layout with dedicated 64-byte RX and TX FIFOs, making it suitable for compact embedded designs. Actual transmission distance exceeds 200 metres in line-of-sight environments; performance varies with data rate, antenna quality, and local RF conditions. PCB colour matches supplied image; dimensional tolerances are ±1–3cm.
