20dBm RS485 433MHz Wireless Modem

Compact RS485 wireless transceiver module measuring 74 × 24 × 16 mm (excluding antenna), powered by 4.5–5.5 V DC and featuring RS485 interface pins (5V, GND, A+, B−). Operates across 433–458.5 MHz with 255 channel selection and adjustable transmit power from −40 dBm to +20 dBm (100 mW peak). Receiver sensitivity is −114 dBm. Supports transparent serial transmission at baud rates 1200–19200 bps (default 9600), with corresponding air data rates from 10 kbps to 100 kbps. Built-in MCU allows direct UART-level integration; maximum payload per frame is 31 bytes. Communication topologies include point-to-point and multi-node master-slave configurations following RS485 bus rules (only one transmitter active at a time). Device enters AT configuration mode only within first three minutes of power-up using AT+ENABLE=1 — thereafter it functions exclusively as a data pipe. Operating temperature: −25 °C to +75 °C. Deployed successfully in Modbus sensor networks, IP PTZ camera control links, LED lighting systems, RS485 relay boards (R4D3C32/N4D8B08/N4D8C12), wireless utility meters, smart home hubs (including Wiser Home), access control panels and remote telemetry infrastructure.
