Wind-Secure Parasol Cover

Engineered for 265 cm tall parasols with 40 cm depth and tapered width (70 cm top → 50 cm base). Features high-tensile polyester shell with double-coated waterproof membrane and UV-inhibiting pigment matrix. Drawstring hem includes 360° tension distribution webbing and low-friction cord lock — tested to hold >12 kg pull force without slippage. The cover’s contoured cut minimises sail area, reducing wind uplift by up to 40% compared to generic oversized covers. Breathable yet water-shedding surface prevents ballooning during gusts while maintaining vapour transfer. Folded size: 22 x 16 x 6 cm — fits standard garden tool caddies or shelf bins. Designed for reliability in exposed UK locations: hillside gardens, balconies, marina-side patios and open-plan courtyards where wind loading is a primary failure mode for poorly secured covers.
