Wind-Driven Strandbeest DIY Kit

Exact dimensions: 20 cm (length) × 13 cm (width) × 17 cm (height). Crafted from smooth, injection-moulded plastic with rounded edges for child-safe handling. The model walks when wind turns the rear-mounted propeller — converting rotary motion into reciprocating leg movement via a four-bar linkage system. This replication captures the essence of Theo Jansen’s work without complexity overload, prioritising clarity of function over scale. Comes with one fully packaged kit and a bilingual-ready English manual featuring annotated diagrams and numbered steps.
