Wideband ADF4351 RF Development Board

This RF development board implements the ADF4351 wideband fractional-N PLL synthesizer to generate stable, programmable signals from 35 MHz to 4.4 GHz. Measuring just 7 × 4 × 1 cm and built on a black PCB, it features an SMA female RF output, DC002 power input (4–9 V DC, 5 V typical), and integrates a ±50 ppm 25 MHz active crystal. Outputs include a fundamental sine wave (2.2–4.4 GHz) and a square wave derived from internal division (35 MHz–2.2 GHz). Communication uses a streamlined three-wire SPI interface, complemented by a hardware control enable line and lock-status indicator pin — enabling robust implementation of point-tone generation, swept-frequency analysis, and agile frequency hopping. Step resolution ranges from 0.1 kHz (low-band) to 1 kHz (high-band), governed by the crystal reference. Full design files — schematic and STM32 test code — are supplied to support rapid integration and verification.
