Each bread keeper measures 30 cm in length and 25 cm in width, built from undyed, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified flax linen and coated with pure, unbleached beeswax. With a weight of approximately 65 g, the material offers quiet rustle-free handling and natural antimicrobial properties inherited from both flax and beeswax. The coating creates a dynamic microclimate inside the bag — permitting CO₂ release while limiting H₂O loss — crucial for baked goods undergoing post-bake starch retrogradation. Designed for repeated cold-water rinsing and line-drying, they remain stable across seasonal UK humidity shifts and perform equally well in larder, fridge, or picnic basket — accommodating whole loaves, half-loaves, or mixed produce in a single, unified system.
