VS1003 MP3 WMA WAV MIDI Audio Decoder Board

This compact audio decoding module (45 × 28 mm, ~8 g) uses a rigid PCB substrate and integrates the VS1003B decoder IC with supporting circuitry including a 12.288 MHz crystal, capacitor filtering, and dual AMS1117 LDO regulators (3.3V and 2.5V, 800mA max). Powered by DC5V, it decodes MP3, MP3+V, WMA, WAV, standard MIDI and SP-MIDI files. Its architecture separates analog, digital and IO power domains to preserve signal fidelity. Communication occurs over SPI, and audio is delivered via stereo DAC output and headphone interface. On-chip 16-bit ADC supports mono IMA ADPCM recording from either the onboard microphone or line-in input. A power indicator LED confirms operation, and all key signals remain accessible for integration with Arduino, ESP32 or other host controllers.
