This sandpit cover combines three essential protective functions — waterproofing, UV shielding, and contamination prevention — in one streamlined Oxford cloth solution. Sized in clean metric increments (120 cm to 200 cm square), it suits everything from compact metal-frame sandpits to large timber-built installations common in UK primary schools and residential gardens. The 190T Oxford cloth is coated with a water-repellent PU layer tested to 1,500 mm hydrostatic head — exceeding typical UK drizzle intensity. Its 70% UV blockage is achieved through pigment-integrated yarns (not surface sprays), ensuring long-term efficacy without washing off. All seams are double-stitched with UV-resistant thread, and the drawstring channel is bar-tacked at stress points. Use is intuitive: drape over filled sandbox, gather excess fabric, and pull drawstring evenly around the rim.
