USB3.0 eMMC BGA153/169 DIY Controller PCB

A dedicated USB 3.0 main control board for building custom U disk solutions using BGA153 or BGA169 eMMC flash memory chips. Constructed from rigid FR-4 PCB with metal shielding for signal integrity and thermal stability. No onboard memory — users must install their own verified eMMC chip(s). Tolerance in physical dimensions is ±1–3 cm due to manufacturing variance. Designed for firmware-driven operation, this board accepts both 1.73 (dual-channel, higher performance) and 1.81 (single-channel, stable baseline) firmware variants. Flashing either version erases all existing data on the eMMC chip — making it unsuitable for data recovery scenarios. Prior to use, confirm your target device uses an eMMC chip with BGA153 or BGA169 pinout — commonly found in set-top boxes, smart TVs, laptops, tablets, and industrial PCs, but rarely in smartphones. Dual-chip configurations are supported at hardware level, enabling parallel access to two eMMC chips for increased bandwidth and aggregate storage — provided both chips match in brand, capacity, and timing characteristics (untested combinations not recommended).
