This USB to RS485 serial converter adapter includes an integrated 8-metre shielded cable for direct connection to solar inverters and industrial equipment. Dimensions: compact housing (approx. 90 × 25 × 15 mm), total assembly weight ~180 g. Constructed with durable ABS plastic housing and high-shield copper wiring for noise resistance in electrically noisy environments like solar farms or industrial sites. Supports standard RS485 half-duplex communication at baud rates up to 115.2 kbps, with automatic direction control (ADDC) eliminating the need for manual RTS pin management. Compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux systems via built-in FTDI chipset drivers (plug-and-play on most versions). Designed for reliable data transfer between PCs/laptops and solar inverters, energy monitoring systems, PLCs, and other RS485-enabled devices.
