If your RS232 device has a female port, a DB9 male-to-male converter or cable is required for connection. Simple installation — plug and play. Features the Prolific PL2303 chipset. Compatible with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2000; Linux 2.4 or later; macOS 10.6 and later. Works with modems, ISDN terminal adapters, digital cameras, label writers, palm PCs, PDAs, cash registers, CNC machines, PLC controllers, tax printers, POS systems, barcode scanners, label printers, and other devices with DB9 serial ports. Not compatible with cutting plotters or VGA 15-pin devices. Tinned copper conductors and triple shielding ensure stable data transfer. Bus-powered via USB — no external power adapter required.
