USB to RJ12 EQMOD Adapter Cable

This USB to RJ12 (6P4C) serial control cable measures approximately 1.8 metres in length and is constructed with PVC insulation and metal connectors for reliable signal transmission. It features an integrated FTDI chipset, enabling native serial communication between a PC/laptop and compatible equatorial mounts—specifically designed for Sky-Watcher mounts used with EQMOD astronomy software. The cable replaces the original hand controller cable, allowing direct PC-based mount control without additional hardware. It supports Windows (XP through 10, including Server and x64 variants), Linux, macOS (via compatible FTDI drivers), and Android (with OTG support). Note: Driver installation may be required on some systems; official FTDI drivers are available at ftdichip.com.
