USB RJ12 6P4C Mount Control Cable

A purpose-built 1.8-metre USB-to-RJ12 (6P4C) cable for connecting laptops or PCs to EQMOD-compatible telescope mounts. Features a durable PVC jacket, metal RJ12 connector, and integrated FTDI USB-serial IC. Designed to replace the hand controller cable directly — no additional adapters or modifications required. Supports Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, 11, Server editions), Linux, Android (with OTG), and legacy systems including Windows 98 and CE.NET 4.2+. Driver installation may be required on first use; official FTDI documentation provides OS-specific instructions. Intended exclusively for EQMOD-controlled mounts such as Sky-Watcher — not suitable for generic RJ12 applications like telephony or industrial sensors.
