This PCIe riser-style expansion card transforms an unused PCIe slot into a fully compliant USB 3.2 Gen1 host interface, supporting up to 5 Gbps data transfer. It provides two output options: a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-E header for modern USB-C front I/O and a conventional 19-pin USB 3.0 header for USB-A front ports. Dimensions: ~90 mm × 69 mm; weight: ~45 g; construction: black plastic enclosure with metal PCIe edge connector and internal grounding layers. Powered exclusively from the PCIe slot. Based on the Renesas D720201 controller — widely adopted in enterprise and consumer hardware for its robust enumeration and error-handling capabilities. Certified compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, 11 (32/64-bit) and Linux (kernel ≥2.6.31). Includes low-profile bracket for small-form-factor builds.
