Compact USB 2.0 to RS-232 female DB9 serial adapter cable (approx. 1.8 m), featuring tinned copper conductors and triple shielding for clean, low-error data transfer up to 1 Mbps. Powered directly from the host USB port — no external power adapter. Robust construction with plastic housing and metal DB9 shell. Works with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2000; Linux kernel 2.4 or newer; macOS 10.6+. Uses authentic Prolific PL2303 chipset. Driver provided on CD. Compatible with modems, ISDN adapters, digital cameras, label writers, PDAs, cash registers, CNC machines, PLCs, POS systems, barcode scanners, and label printers. Not suitable for cutting plotters or VGA connections. For devices with female RS-232 ports, a DB9 male-to-male adapter is required.
