Ultra-Flexible Magnetic 3D Printer Surface

Approximate footprint: 235 × 235 mm (9.25 × 9.25 in), thickness: ~0.8 mm. Made from a calibrated soft magnetic elastomer — flexible enough to bend without creasing, yet stiff enough to hold flatness during extrusion. Matte black finish minimises light reflection for accurate camera-based bed levelling (e.g., BLTouch or CR-Touch). Installation sequence matters: first confirm upper and lower layers magnetically couple fully (audible ‘snap’ and resistance to sliding); only then affix lower base to printer bed. Once set, the upper layer detaches cleanly for part removal — no tools needed — and reattaches with identical positioning accuracy each time. Compatible with all FDM technologies: works equally well with Bowden and direct-drive extruders, and supports common filaments including PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU and composites — no surface coating or additional adhesives required.
