U-Groove Adjustable Nutcracker

Measurements: 18.5 cm (L) × 8.5 cm (W) × 6 cm (H); Weight: approximately 620 g; Works effectively on walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, almonds, English walnuts and Brazil nuts; Constructed using high-grade steel for the cranking mechanism and a dense, finished hardwood for the base. The U-shaped groove guides and centres each nut before compression begins, ensuring alignment with the natural seam of the shell. Combined with the adjustable crank, this geometry guarantees even force application — minimising shell shrapnel and maximising edible yield per nut. The wood base adds damping and prevents surface scratches. Especially suited for UK buyers prioritising kitchen ergonomics and ingredient quality — whether portioning nuts for school lunches, prepping for paleo or keto recipes, or hosting gatherings where presentation matters — this tool supports both function and form without requiring counter space sacrifice.
