TTL Serial Stepper Motor Controller

The ZK-SMC01 is a dedicated single-axis stepper motor controller featuring TTL-level serial communication compatibility, LCD status display, and four operational modes: automatic, manual, setting, and serial port. It works with common cathode stepper motor drivers and accepts a broad DC input range of 5–30V. Configuration data persists through power cycles using internal non-volatile memory. Core functionality includes programmable pulse rate (0.1–999 laps/min), directional pulse limits (up to 9999 forward or reverse), acceleration/deceleration tuning, maximum cycle count of 9999, delay time precision from 0.0 to 999.9 seconds, and up to 128 programmable motion segments. Its plastic enclosure ensures lightweight durability, rated for continuous operation at ambient temperatures from -5°C to 60°C (non-condensing), and includes reverse polarity protection on the input terminals. Intended for integration into general industrial control setups — such as prototype automation rigs, laboratory motion platforms, and light-duty manufacturing aids — it is explicitly unsuitable for medical therapy equipment, fire suppression systems, or any application where failure could endanger human life.
