The FLT4825 replacement kit comprises 2 True HEPA Filter B units and 8 activated carbon prefilter pads. These filters work together to trap airborne particles — including dust, pet hair and animal dander — with 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns, while the carbon layer absorbs smoke, cooking fumes and everyday odours. Constructed from plastic and cotton-based filtration media, they offer structural integrity and consistent airflow resistance. Installation is fully compatible with FLT4825-requiring Germ Guardian models and requires no tools. For sustained performance, replace the HEPA Filter B every 6–8 months and the carbon pads every 2–3 months, depending on environmental factors such as pet activity, cooking frequency and room ventilation.
