Each sphere measures 5 cm in diameter and is formed from thick-walled ABS plastic. Internally filled with fine iron sand for consistent density and sonic weight. Connected via 30 cm length of UV-stabilised braided nylon rope — knot-tested to hold under 25 kg tension. Total unit weight: ~120 g. The kashaka’s playing technique relies on controlled centrifugal force: rotating the wrist sends one ball outward while the other swings inward, creating call-and-response phasing effects.
