Submersible Sponge Filter with Rain Pipe

This internal aquarium filter is constructed from durable plastic and features a removable sponge filtration medium. It measures compact enough for small to medium tanks and weighs approximately 250 g (typical for similar submersible units). Designed for use in freshwater, saltwater, and amphibian enclosures, it operates fully submerged. The integrated rain pipe attachment directs filtered water downward in a gentle cascade, increasing surface agitation and oxygen exchange. The sponge provides mechanical filtration by trapping debris and supporting beneficial bacterial growth, helping maintain clear water and reduce algae formation. Cleaning or replacement is straightforward — simply lift out the sponge without tools.
