Steel Exit Release Push Button Panel

Durable steel push button panel for momentary activation of electronic door release circuits. Dimensions: 86 mm × 86 mm faceplate, low-profile design suitable for standard UK wall boxes or surface-mounted backboxes. Constructed from cold-rolled steel with robust internal switch mechanism; weighs approx. 180 g. Compatible with 12–24 V DC access control systems including electric strikes, electromagnetic locks and exit relays. Designed for flush or surface mounting with standard screw terminals for direct wiring to door controller or relay outputs. Functions as a momentary (normally open) switch — pressing the button completes the circuit to trigger door release for a preset duration, then automatically resets. Provides tactile feedback and audible click for positive user confirmation. Engineered for high-cycle operation in residential apartment lobbies, office exit doors and retail staff entrances. Ideal for retrofitting into existing access-controlled doors where visible, reliable, code-compliant egress is required. Must be installed in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and local fire safety requirements for emergency exit hardware.
