The wire backs are cold-formed from grade 304 stainless steel — offering superior tensile strength and corrosion resistance compared to standard nickel-plated variants. Aluminium buttons are drawn, not stamped, ensuring consistent wall thickness and smooth inner edges that prevent fabric snagging. Tools feature hardened contact surfaces and progressive leverage ratios to apply even pressure during crimping — critical for achieving uniform closure force across all 100 units. Tested on UK-sourced fabrics including Harris tweed, corduroy and organic cotton jersey, with zero reported failures in domestic testing across 500+ assembly cycles.
