Sponge Windshield Set for RODE Wireless GO II

A pair of black open-cell sponge windscreens designed exclusively for the RODE Wireless GO II (second-generation) wireless transmitter. Each unit is manually inspected for dimensional accuracy: height ~4.5 cm, diameter ~2.8 cm (±1–3 cm tolerance stated per EU measurement guidelines). Made from low-density, slow-recovery acoustic foam — soft enough to conform without pressure, firm enough to retain shape during daily handling. The foam’s pore size and distribution are optimised to disrupt air vortices before they reach the mic inlet, reducing low-frequency wind thumps and breath blasts without attenuating vocal sibilance or consonant sharpness. Not a sealed enclosure — allows passive venting to prevent condensation or thermal stress during prolonged use. Suited for UK-based educators recording lecture snippets, local news crews capturing vox pops, or indie filmmakers shooting dialogue in gardens, alleys, or seaside locations. Also supports multi-mic workflows — equipping both transmitters ensures balanced channel matching and eliminates left/right noise asymmetry in stereo or dual-mono recordings.
