Soft-Yarn Marimba Mallets Fiberglass Core

Engineered for accessibility and tonal reliability, these mallets feature a compact mushroom head fully enveloped in tightly wound, abrasion-resistant yarn — producing a focused, mellow fundamental with minimal overtone clutter. The core is solid fiberglass, finished with a fine polish for consistent hand feel and resistance to moisture-related warping. Overall length: ~39 cm; head diameter: ~2.4 cm; balanced 3–4 cm below the top of the handle. Total pair weight: ~185 g. Surface is free of seams, ridges, or sharp transitions — prioritising comfort during prolonged grip and stroke repetition. Compatible with all standard marimba frame sizes used in UK schools, youth orchestras, and community music centres, as well as lower-register vibraphone and tuned metal chimes.
