Material is transparent food-grade silicone, free from additives, plasticisers, or synthetic fragrances. Dimensions: diaphragms ~5.5 cm Ø × 1.2 mm thick; valves ~2.8 cm Ø; net weight 24 g. The diaphragm delivers responsive flex under vacuum to sustain uninterrupted suction, preventing sudden pressure drops that disrupt let-down reflex. Valves feature tapered flaps that open smoothly during expression and seal tightly afterward—minimising air ingress and ensuring milk flows only toward the bottle. Cleaning requires only warm water and mild detergent; sterilisation options include steam, boiling (≤100°C), and microwave steam bags. For reliable performance, inspect diaphragms weekly and replace them every 2–3 months—or sooner if elasticity diminishes or surface gloss fades.
