Single-Color Fiber Optic Light Engine

This compact fiber optic light source is built with an aluminum body for optimal thermal management and mechanical resilience, weighing only 27g (1oz). Its total length measures 21cm (8.3in), with a dedicated 70mm (2.8in) light-emitting section — longer than typical units — enabling more effective heat dispersion and sustained performance. The light source has a 17mm (0.7in) diameter and a 0.7cm (0.3in) mouth opening. The input aperture accepts fiber optic cables from 3mm to 7mm (0.12–0.28in) and includes a tightening mechanism for firm, alignment-secure attachment. Operating at 0.5W actual power (rated 1W), it functions reliably between -40°C and +80°C and offers a 50,000-hour lamp life. Purpose-built for ambient single-color lighting in parties, concerts, and architectural fiber optic displays.
