This DIY shortwave radio module kit is based on the SI4732 IC and designed specifically for UV-K5 and UV-K6 handheld radios. The PCB module measures approximately 4.5 × 3.0 cm (allowing ±1–3 cm measurement tolerance) and weighs minimal due to its compact bare-PCB construction. It includes two donut loop antennas optimised for shortwave reception and one adapter for secure integration into compatible host radios. The module requires manual soldering and is not pre-assembled — users must possess basic electronics assembly skills.
