Description

1. Utilizes R820T2 tuners, higherquality passive components, USB line throttling to reduce USB noise, an enhanced PCB design for significantly lower internal interference and noise, breakout pads, improved ESD protection, additional bypass capacitors and ferrite power throttles, an optimized frontend adjustment circuit, and a LDO. 2. SMA Antenna Socket – Most universal dongles use the less common MCX or other antenna ports. SMA is more widely adopted, offering greater availability of adapters and antennas. It is also more durable and features lower RF insertion loss. 3. RF Reception via Direct Sampling – Capable of receiving signals from 100 kHz to 25 MHz through direct sampling. Simply connect an RF antenna to the SMA port and select the Q branch. A builtin 25 MHz lowpass filter is included, though additional RF filters may be for performance (e.g., to attenuate strong MW AM signals). 4. Enhanced Cooling System – Features a large aluminum housing with passive cooling. These devices come standard with an aluminum enclosure and passive cooling via heat dissipation. The circuit board is specifically designed for passive cooling, incorporating ventilation holes and leveraging the large aluminum housing. This prevents reception degradation due to heat above 1.2 GHz.
