SDHC SDXC IDE Converter Adapter

This SD-to-IDE converter adapter provides a hardware-level interface between SDHC/SDXC memory cards and standard 44-pin IDE host systems. Certified to SD Specification v2.0 and IDE/ATA-33 standards, it operates in true-IDE mode and supports DMA-33 and Ultra DMA transfer protocols. The board includes two dedicated controller ICs and places the SD card slot on the rear surface for mechanical stability. Housed in black plastic, it matches the physical dimensions of a 2.5-inch IDE drive (approx. 7.0 × 5.5 × 1.2 cm) and weighs ~25 g. Compatible with DOS, Windows 98SE, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Vista, and Linux — allowing direct use as system drive, swap partition, or portable application repository in legacy computing environments.
