This RV1103 Linux development board centres on a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A7 processor with NEON and FPU support, delivering reliable performance for embedded Linux applications. It integrates 64MB of 16-bit DDR2 DRAM to meet memory-intensive demands of AI and vision tasks. The chip embeds Ruixin Micro’s 4th-generation NPU — rated at 0.5 TOPS (int8) and scalable to 1.0 TOPS (int4) — with native support for mixed-precision quantisation across int4, int8, and int16. Its 3rd-generation ISP3.2 accepts up to 4MP@30fps sensor input and applies hardware-accelerated HDR, WDR, and multi-level denoising for superior image fidelity. Encoding is intelligently adapted to scene content, cutting average bitrate by more than 50% relative to CBR — maintaining HD quality while shrinking file size and doubling effective storage capacity. A built-in RISC-V MCU ensures rapid 250ms startup and concurrent AI model loading, making facial recognition feasible in under one second. Standard interfaces include MIPI CSI 2-lane, USB 2.0 Host/Device, 10/100M Ethernet with integrated PHY, 25 GPIOs, and 128MB SPI NAND FLASH. Supplied with pin header; mechanical build uses plastic and metal. No wireless connectivity is present.
