Overall size: 19.5 x 4.5 cm. Solid zinc alloy head bonded to a high-strength nylon handle with internal fibre reinforcement. Non-porous, non-corroding surface — safe for direct contact with raw meats and acidic marinades. Integrated hanging hole supports hygienic, off-countertop storage. Toothed side creates micro-channels in meat to accelerate brine or spice penetration and reduce cooking time for tougher cuts; smooth side ensures even mechanical thinning — crucial for achieving golden crusts and avoiding grey, overcooked edges on chicken or veal. Use confidently on steaks, pork chops, boneless thighs, white fish, and shellfish. Also suitable for crushing dried chilies, nuts or crackers. Clean-up is minimal: rinse, wipe, store. First-use wash removes trace manufacturing residue.
