Round Felt Liner for Fabric Baskets

Specifically sized for round fabric-based hanging baskets (inner diameter ~30 cm, depth ~14 cm), this liner uses 100% virgin polyester felt with 4 mm calibrated thickness and 85 g weight. The felt is thermally bonded — not glued — ensuring zero delamination or fibre shedding into soil over time. Its functional advantage lies in dual-phase water handling: initial surface retention gives seedlings and cuttings time to absorb moisture before drainage occurs; once saturated, gravity-driven flow through interconnected voids prevents pooling. Concurrently, macro-pores remain open for CO₂/O₂ exchange — vital for root respiration in enclosed hanging systems. Suitable for year-round use: indoors with low-light tolerant foliage plants; on south-facing balconies supporting sun-loving geraniums and trailing tomatoes; or in shaded garden corners growing ferns and hostas — always maintaining optimal root-zone equilibrium without manual intervention.
