Robust Outboard Motor Transom Support

This transom saver is constructed from durable high-density rubber, sized to fit snugly within the tilt piston of hydraulic outboard systems. Its compact design (approx. 12.7 cm long, 380 g weight) incorporates 10 internal notches for positive engagement with the tilt shaft. It resists deformation under sustained compression loads above 2000 lbs and remains stable across wide ambient temperature fluctuations. Used during trailering, it prevents uncontrolled motor drop, minimises stress on the transom structure and hydraulic tilt assembly, and avoids direct metal-on-metal contact between the motor skeg and boat hull. Compatible with a broad range of hydraulic tilt outboards: VMAX-SHO (90–175 hp, single-block), ProXS and conventional 4-stroke/2-stroke units (40–175 hp), Verado V6/V8 (250–400 hp, dual-block), Mercury Racing models (300R–500R dual-block and 60R single-block), and Tohatsu 40–150 hp (single-block). No tools or modifications needed — just insert and secure.
