Robust Mid-Tripod Support Rod

A dedicated stainless steel support rod engineered for Celestron AstroMaster and PowerSeeker tripods featuring stainless steel leg construction. Compatible with A70EQ, A90EQ, 80DX, A114EQ, A130EQ, 130DX and 90DX models, it occupies the central vertical space beneath the accessory tray to eliminate flex and improve load distribution. At 25 cm in length and 85 g in weight, it is dimensionally matched to the original equipment specification. The rod installs via two M4 threaded connections already present on the tripod’s upper casting, requiring only hand-tightening. Its polished stainless finish resists tarnishing and blends visually with the tripod’s aesthetic while delivering mechanical continuity across the support structure.
