Replacement Needle Valve For Vintage Toilets

Purpose-built inlet valve for vintage and retro-fitted toilet cisterns prevalent in UK housing stock built before 2005. Features a manually adjustable stainless-steel needle tip housed within a rigid plastic body, engaging a precision-moulded elastomeric seat. Connection: G1/2 inch male BSP thread, compatible with standard UK tank inlets. Overall length: ~8.5 cm; weight: under 60 g. Designed to replace obsolete units such as the Twyfords 4000-series or Armitage Shanks AS100 inlet valves. Material resists degradation from chlorine, lime scale, and thermal cycling. Does not include float ball, linkage rod, or overflow tube — only the core regulating valve assembly. Intended for use with standard UK 6-litre or 9-litre single-flush cisterns operating at 0.15–0.6 MPa supply pressure.
