QRB1-Style Flame Sensor With Plastic Housing

This flame sensor replicates the QRB1 form factor with a depth of 26–27 mm and uses fully hardened plastic for structural integrity and thermal resistance in continuous combustion environments. As a light-dependent resistor, it delivers predictable resistance reduction upon exposure to visible flame light — enabling binary flame status feedback using only passive circuitry. It maintains full mechanical compatibility with standard QRB1 mounting holes and electrical interface specifications, supporting integration with older and newer waste oil burner control boards alike. Correct positioning toward the flame root is mandatory for consistent operation — incorrect angle or distance will compromise reliability, so certified burner technicians should perform commissioning. Only the bare sensor is provided; ancillary components such as leads, fixings or instructions are excluded.
