PVC Multiway Valve Clamping Ring

A precision-molded PVC clamping ring engineered to lock multiway valves securely onto sand filter tanks. With an outer diameter of ~300 mm and wall thickness of 4.5 mm, it delivers balanced radial compression while resisting deformation under typical pool system pressures up to 3 bar. Weighing 120 g, it combines rigidity for structural integrity with slight flexibility to accommodate minor flange tolerances. Its chemical-resistant PVC composition ensures no swelling, cracking, or surface erosion when exposed to stabilised chlorine, sodium bromide, or calcium hypochlorite solutions. Used at the critical junction between valve body and filter housing, it preserves alignment during operation and prevents gasket extrusion during backwash. Compatible with standard flanged multiway valves and sand filter housings found in UK domestic pools and small-scale leisure facilities.
