Input uses a 3-wire 7.62 mm socket (live, neutral, protective earth); output uses a 2-wire 7.62 mm socket (live, neutral). The input GND terminal offers installation flexibility: connect to mains earth or to the local chassis — enabling tailored grounding schemes to minimise noise coupling in complex audio systems. It implements a rigorously segmented filtering architecture: Stage 1 handles differential-mode noise via two matched inductors; Stages 2 and 3 apply sequential common-mode filtering using X2 capacitors and high-alignment common-mode chokes. This triple-stage topology provides exceptional attenuation of fast, repetitive transients — particularly those in the 2–10 kHz band — commonly introduced by modern lighting, HVAC controls, or shared building infrastructure in UK residential and studio spaces.
