Thickness remains constant at 3 mm across all sizes to ensure uniform compression and predictable mounting behaviour. Each tire is manufactured with a circumference intentionally smaller than its target wheel — enabling firm, wraparound tension when stretched during installation. The recommended method uses warm water immersion (3–5 minutes) to enhance flexibility before manual seating into the wheel’s outer groove. A flat-blade screwdriver assists gradual engagement without overstressing the material.
