Precision Stepper Control Shield Module

This Arduino UNO R3-compatible shield provides integrated stepper motor control using industry-standard DRV8825 or A4988 driver ICs. Board measures 68.5 mm × 53.3 mm × 15 mm and weighs ~25 g. Constructed on FR-4 PCB with 2-layer copper trace routing and gold-finished contact pads. Accepts 8–35 V DC input and supports bipolar stepper motors with up to 2.2 A peak current (DRV8825). Features include thermal shutdown, overcurrent protection, adjustable current limit via trimpot, and microstepping selection (full to 1/32 step). Commonly deployed in custom 3D printer mainboards, pick-and-place mechanisms, rotary stage controllers, and STEM education kits requiring deterministic motion control and minimal external components.
