Precision-Adjustable Brass Relief Valve

Size: 8 × 6 × 2 cm. Material: Monolithic brass construction — no welds, joints, or dissimilar metals. Surface: Natural machined brass finish (silver appearance), non-coated, inherently antimicrobial. Pressure range: Manually adjustable from 3 to 6 bar; tested to withstand 1.5× max relief pressure without deformation. Internally, the valve employs a hardened brass seat mated with a PTFE-reinforced EPDM seal, actuated by a pre-stressed stainless steel spring housed within a sealed brass chamber. Adjustment alters spring preload via axial translation of the cap — no disassembly required. Leak rate < 0.1 ml/min below set point per BS EN 1487 Annex B. Intended for permanent installation on pressurised hot water storage vessels regulated under UK Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. Common applications include indirect cylinders, combination boiler expansion loops, and heat pump buffer tanks where thermal expansion must be safely vented without compromising system integrity.
