Precision 42mm Stepper for Extruders

A compact 42.3 × 42.3 mm, 135 g metal stepper motor engineered specifically for extruder-driven motion control. Its high-torque output is achieved using hardened steel components and optimised magnetic circuit design, while low self-inductance supports clean signal fidelity and fast directional switching. Stable rotational behaviour is ensured by reinforced PCB support and precisely machined stator geometry — delivering consistent angular displacement without deviation or missed steps. The rotor undergoes a dual-stage surface treatment: coating with imported epoxy resin followed by high-temperature curing, which seals microscopic pores and blocks ferrous debris ingress into stator air gaps — a known contributor to premature wear and intermittent lockup. Electrical efficiency is enhanced via reduced coil resistance, promoting better heat dissipation and lower steady-state temperature rise. Compatible with standard XH2.54 connectors (DuPont header also supported), it serves not only 3D printer extruders but also automation-grade applications such as placement machines, textile looms, and diagnostic instrumentation.
