Precision 120 Ohm XLR Terminator

High-accuracy DMX512 terminator with true 120 ohm resistance embedded in an XLR 3-pin male connector. Housing made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel; contacts are gold-plated for minimal insertion loss and long service life. Unit size: ~6.5 cm × 2.2 cm; weight: ~45 g. Sold as a set of two units only — no cables, cases, or manuals included. Designed to terminate DMX data lines at the endpoint of any linear or branched lighting network — e.g., at the final moving head, LED bar, or dimmer rack — thereby absorbing transmitted signal energy rather than allowing it to reflect. Reflections distort the differential voltage waveform, causing bit errors in DMX packet decoding and resulting in visual anomalies like stuttering gobos or colour shifts. Deployed across professional UK audio-visual integrators’ projects, from West End theatre upgrades to university lecture hall automation — wherever deterministic lighting control must function reliably without specialist commissioning support.
