Constructed from rigid, non-porous PVC with consistent wall thickness (3.2 mm average), it delivers balanced clamping force without flexing or twisting under normal operating pressure. Dimensions follow nominal 10-inch specifications (±1–3 cm), with internal radius profiling designed to conform closely to common valve body contours. Includes one clamp, two bolts (M6 × 25 mm), and two hex nuts — all made from coated steel to resist moisture-induced seizing. Installation method prioritises longevity: finger-tighten until snug, then apply only light torque (approx. 1.5–2.0 Nm) with a 10 mm spanner — sufficient to compress the gasket without stressing the PVC housing. Supports reliable multiport valve operation and reduces risk of air ingress or sand channeling caused by inconsistent sealing pressure.
