PP Y Filter Dual Stainless Mesh

This Y-type inline water filter features a polypropylene (PP) body and a removable stainless steel double-layer mesh element, designed specifically for φ25 mm PPR piping (26–27 mm outer diameter) used in hot melt installations. Approximate dimensions: 120 mm length, 65 mm height, 45 mm width; weight: 180 g. The PP material ensures compatibility with UK drinking water regulations (WRAS-aligned formulation), offering resistance to chlorine, scaling and thermal expansion. The dual-layer stainless steel mesh—precision-welded and tensioned—retains particulates ≥150 µm while sustaining flow rates up to 1.8 m³/h at 6 bar. Its Y-shaped architecture separates flow paths to concentrate debris into the lower leg, which opens via a hand-tightened PP cap for immediate visual inspection and cleaning. Frequently specified for protecting thermostatic mixer valves, instantaneous water heaters, and automated irrigation controllers from mechanical fouling.
