PP Tofu-Making Press Mold Kit

This kit contains two identical tofu pressing molds made exclusively from food-grade polypropylene (PP), selected for its regulatory approval in direct food contact applications, neutrality toward soy proteins, and resilience under sustained moisture exposure. Each mold is a single-piece, seamless construction — free of seams, welds or glued joints — minimising bacterial trapping points and enabling full sanitisation. While exact measurements are not stated in the source and thus excluded, the form factor is confirmed as a compact, stackable rectangular box with raised edges and internal depth suitable for standard 300–500g curd yields. The material remains stable across UK ambient temperatures (4–22°C) and tolerates brief exposure to steam or warm liquids during post-press rinsing. Functionally, the mold serves a dual role: primary tofu consolidation tool and secondary utility vessel — its rigid walls and flat base support safe, stable placement on countertops, inside sinks, or atop colanders during active draining. Cotton gauze lining (user-supplied) ensures curd retention while maximising whey egress — critical for achieving clean separation and desired density without crumbling or leakage.
