Potted Hall Effect Flow Sensor

This G1/2 (DN15) water flow sensor delivers dependable performance in residential and light commercial water heating applications. Physical dimensions: 6.1 × 3.4 cm; compatible with standard UK pipe threads (G1/2, ~2 cm OD). Operates reliably from 1 to 30 L/min at pressures up to 1.75 MPa and water temperatures ≤120°C. Core components include a plastic valve housing, rotor assembly with stainless steel shaft, and a Hall effect sensor fully encapsulated in waterproof potting compound. The mechanical seal ring is axially preloaded from both sides to guarantee leak-free operation. Signal output is a TTL-compatible square wave (Red: IN+, Yellow: OUT, Black: GND-) — ideal for microcontroller-based monitoring and closed-loop control. Designed for permanent installation at water heater inlets to enable real-time flow feedback.
